More Than Food.
A Journey. A Mission.
Maziar grew up in Iran, where food was never just fuel — it was connection, celebration, and ritual. He was surrounded by fragrant bunches of fresh herbs, the taste of sun-ripened tomatoes, and the simple joy of crushing them with his feet to make puree — an earthy, barefoot tradition that brought flavor to every meal and grounded him in the abundance of the land.
However, Maziar had to run from the dictatorial regime in his country of origin. He arrived in Belgium 22 years ago as a refugee — with no certainty and no rights, but with one powerful thing: hope. Hope that life could be different. Hope that he could grow. He faced doubt and fear. But he held on to one belief: what you carry inside matters more than anything outside.
Lifebar was born from that belief.
It’s not just a breakfast bar — it’s a mission. A challenge to what’s considered “normal.” Because food should give you power. Not just to survive, but to rise.
Years later, running became part of his journey. First as a way to move. Then as a way to become stronger — in body, mind, and spirit. Now, as he trains for ultraruns, he feels what he always believed: when you nourish yourself with purpose, anything is possible.
Lifebar is where intention meets energy. Where food meets freedom. Where your day begins — and your power returns.
